1Load a preset
Pick Small, Medium or Large. Between two, the smaller gives a conservative tune and the larger a more aggressive one. Up to 7 Custom presets can be saved.
2Test in place
Test stabilization where you will shoot and note which axis misbehaves.
3Raise Stiffness
On a weak axis, raise Stiffness by about 10 and retest. Repeat until it buzzes or shakes, then back off 5 to 10 for margin.
4Adjust Control and Strength
Use Control and Strength for specific problems like low frequency shake or high frequency buzz. Control and Wheels settings also change how an axis responds to input.
| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Does not stabilize a disturbance | Tuning too low | Check the preset. Raise Stiffness until it hums, back off 5 to 10. Consider a vibration isolator. |
| Overshoots when stopping a move | Strength too high, or payload inertia beyond motor torque | Lower Strength or add stick or wheel Smoothing. |
| Vibrates or buzzes when still | Stiffness or Control too high | Lower Stiffness or Control. If stabilization then suffers, raise Strength. |
