Reading MotoCrane RADICAL LEDs, warnings and the System Log
RADICAL reports problems two ways: LEDs on the PSU, Cortex and COMMAND Console, and warning or error icons in the controller screen. Here is how to read both.

What do the MotoCrane RADICAL LEDs and warning icons mean?
1COM LED (Cortex)
On when the system is talking on the CAN-bus. Off means the Cortex electronics stopped working, a wiring fault is blocking communication, or very rarely the LED itself burned out.
2Power LEDs
Show 48V system power at each module. The PSU also has a 24V LED between the AUX and COM ports for 24V at those ports.
3Fault LED (PSU)
Red LED near SYSTEM POWER INPUT. Points to a problem with the power source, such as reverse polarity.
4Yellow icon
A warning. The controller beeps once.
5Red icon
An error. The controller beeps until you touch the icon or press the physical DISARM switch.
6STATUS and System Log
Touch an icon to open STATUS with the active list. For intermittent faults, the System Log keeps the 10 most recent events with time since each. Both link to the Code Lookup Table.
- Before chasing any code, check every cable and the COM and Power LEDs on every module.
