MotoCrane RADICAL maintenance and weather care
MotoCrane's maintenance table for RADICAL: wipe down after every use, grease the outside bearings every six to twelve months, and keep the PSU and controller dry.
Applies to: MotoCrane RADICAL
How do you maintain a MotoCrane RADICAL?
1After every use
Wipe the whole system with a dry cloth, including around the harmonic drive, to stop surface rust on steel parts.
2Every 6 to 12 months
Grease the outside swing and lift bearings with a lithium group, grade 2 grease. Dry bearings can cause jerky moves or odd noises.
3Do not over-grease
Too much grease can blow internal seals. MotoCrane asks you to email support to confirm your unit needs it first.
4Keep electronics dry
Base, Fulcrum, Booms, Isolator and Fairing are IP65. The Controller and PSU are not water resistant and belong inside the vehicle.
5Cap open connectors
Module connectors are only sealed when a cable or cap is fitted. Use the supplied sealing caps on unused ports. Never spray cleaner into components that are not water resistant.
